This past weekend CTA sent 45 swimmers to the HBT "Longshot" Meet.  Most every swimmer swam to  a personal best time in at least one of their events!  There were also many meet records broken by our swimmers, most notebly Jewels Harris (10). 

At the end of the meet, many CTA swimmers were awarded High  Point honors.  These included Jewels Harris (who won the 9-10 Girls division), Zachary Smith (who won the Runner's Up High point in the 9-10 Boys), Kelly Berger (won the High Point for the 13-14 Girls), Anna McKenzie (won the Runner's Up in the 13-14 Girls), Cora McKenzie (won the Senior Girls Runner-Up High point), and Philip Dishuck (won the Senior Boys Runner-Up High Point).

The coaching staff is very pleased with the performances of all their swimmers.  Many young swimmers competed in the 500 Free, 200 Fly, 200 Back,and 200 Breast for the first time.  This is a great foundation for future success in the sport.
